About Classes

We would like to invite you to enjoy the healthy atmosphere of our class and to share the amazingly graceful art of capoeira. Beginners can drop in at any time. Just bring any kind of loose pants (preferably sweat-pants) and a t-shirt. Classes are done with students of different skill levels. All capoeira movements can be broken down to challenge anybody in accordance to their skill level.

Capoeira classes will emphasize many different aspects. From techniques and coordination to simply understanding the art. The learning process includes working on ground movements, working two by two, basic sequences of kicks and escapes, playing musical instruments, singing, clapping and so much more. The idea of capoeira is to move within the movements of your partner achieving a harmony of forces.

We request that students arrive to class fifteen minutes early for changing, payment and stretching. Please contact us for current rates of classes.

Capoeira Class Schedule

All Levels Class

These classes are for students of any level. Students of higher levels are also welcome to attend.

Fundamental Class

These classes are geared toward students that are brand new to Capoeira and those who have received their first cord (Verde). Students of higher levels are also welcome to attend.

Beginner Class

These classes are geared toward new students with more focused training than the Fundamental Class. Students of higher levels are also welcome to attend.

Intermediate Class

These classes are geared toward students that have received their second or third codrão (Verde/Amarelo and Amarelo). Students of higher levels are also welcome to attend.

Advanced Class

These classes are only open to students that have received their third codrão (Amarelo) or higher.

Kid's Class

These classes are geared toward children from the ages 9 to 13. Students of higher levels are also welcome to attend.

Closed Classes

These classes are closed to the public. If you would like to visit any of these classes please contact us so we can make the proper arrangements.
